SEHS wrestlers are looking to raise money for camps and tournaments over the summer. You can "rent" a wrestler to do any odd jobs around your house. All money goes towards the person doing the work.

Matt Ringrose and Chris Veneris will lead the first workshop, which will focus on the screenwriting format. Drama Center Pictures is a program City Arts and Event that features workshops and practical experience in filmmaking for teens and adults. There are opportunities for individuals of all experience levels to learn the art of movie making. It costs $30 per year to be a Drama Center Pictures member.

Produced in collaboration with Scrapmettle Performing Arts.
Set in 1898, many black women who had been slaves took advantage of the Homestead Act and relocated to the West to begin new lives for themselves. They overcame tremendous odds to work their own land and make a place for themselves in the all-black town of Nicodemus, Kansas.

The YWCA of High Point will offer a Diversity Drama Training for middle and high school youth in the High Point area. This is a fun, energetic and engaging time where your voice will be heard on issues that matter to you! These are interactive sessions that are designed to help increase awareness of personal identity, culture, and assumptions about others and increase empathy for people from diverse cultures. Barking For Blankets 2nd Annual 5K and Puppy Run
Barking For Blankets is a non-profit organization created by students at Southeast Guilford High School. We created Barking for Blankets in order to provide high quality, handmade blankets to animals in shelters at absolutely no cost to the shelter. Research shows that blankets given to animals help them feel comfortable in an otherwise cold and lonely environment. 100% of funds raised at the race go back into the fund.

In this 5-week cooking camp, kids ages 8-14 will learn to prepare healthy foods from around the world!
In each session, kids will prepare a main course, a side dish, and a dessert from places like France, Italy, Asia, Latin America, and the USA.
We'll learn about basic cooking and baking techniques, kitchen safety, and ways to follow a healthy life style.
